L'OFFICIEL PARTY AT IFA VILLAGE // SHANGHAI
May 29th 2007
The Warehouse Studio is closely connected to the art world of Moganshan even if this time we were involved as designers. IFA Village was organizing a VVVVVIP cocktail party for the French and Chinese “L’Officiel” and they asked Warehouse to develop a concept, to design the invitation as well as the decoration and to produce all the decorative items. After a lot of brainstorming, the idea appeared to Lucas and Olivia: the guests would have to enter the “L’Officiel” in an oversized world. A corridor formed by huge fabric panels printed with the most famous photos from L’Officiel greeted the guests and lead them up to the main room.
The walls were hung with huge pictures and above all by the giant font of the logo.
The centerpiece “O” of L’Officiel on the buffet table built of wood was painted with the party color tone: white and plum.
All were welcomed and grooved into the font universe by Lucas Gurdjian aka Dj Chester Copper Pot Beats.
